BEFORE ENLIGHTENMENT, COMES FREEDOM.

Freedom. What exactly is it?

Democracy? Free speech? Enough money in the bank. Free will? Declaring our gender?

There are levels of freedom and it all depends on your awareness and view of the world. How deep are you prepared to go? The levels of freedom begin at the illusion of democracy peddled by the businessman and politicos and ends with what many may call spiritual enlightenment. How far on the path you may travel really depends on your levels of honesty, determination and the strength of your soul.

There are very strange things happening on the third plain of existence right now. The world of matter is coming to the boil. Our social media threads are full of people claiming to be enlightened because they have finally seen through some of the shadowy elite’s gargantuan plans. This is not enlightenment. This is having woken up from an afternoon nap and not yet opened your eyes fully. Stick the coffee on, there’s a dear. True freedom is way more complex than that.

These plots unravelling on a daily basis are more than they seem. Their main objective is to divide and conquer. If any of what you are seeing elicits an “us against them” response, then you are missing the point completely. If you feel different, superior or against anything at all then you are far from free, light years from enlightenment. The tyrant of the ego sees enemies everywhere and thus you are a slave to your own myopic mind. But fear not, help is at hand. Let’s discover and move through the levels of freedom. Freedom from them but also Freedom from our conditioned selves.

True enlightenment is freedom. Not from the ego as so many modern teachers tell us. The ego is are friend if we use it as a tool and don’t allow it to become our master. Detaching from trauma, from karma, from conditioning, from the aspects of life that trigger us every day. This is freedom. To embody all that we have learnt and to find true love and wonder in all things. This is enlightenment.
